Snowy Magnolia In Kentucky

Well, it’s finally here, we got our few inches of snow after the Canadian cold air collided with the Texas rain.
It blew it’s way in this morning and dumped the snow on us pretty quickly. There are only a few flakes left flying around in the air, but we are pretty much stranded in the snow for now.
The above snapshot was taken this morning from my back window. The magnolia tree is holding up strong in this mess, I guess the frozen storm one year ago made the tree even stronger when it was pummeled with ice.
Our local news said there were 36 accidents in Lexington Kentucky since last night, why are peeps getting out in this? My mom said it doesn’t bother most people to get out in the snow, but that’s not the point to me. The point is IT IS DANGEROUS! Right? Oh well..
