Innocent Bystander and a Car Thief Killed in Hot Pursuit Police Chase
A seventeen year old boy hopped into a running car left unattended (owner was letting it warm up in cold weather), a police chase ensued rather quickly, then came to a tragic end with the young driver, and, an innocent bystander in his/her fifties, dying at the crash scene.

Wow, I guess it aint like it is on tv. Usually those TVcops will only pursue a vehicle if it’s safe to do so. Such silly mistakes our children make. I feel sorry for the families who are hurting right now because of this incident. It must be especially hard for the mom who lost the young son, and very difficult for the other family, as well as friends of both families.
Police say two people died after a chase and crash Friday morning at Dixie Highway and the Watterson Expressway.
