My friend loves shopping at the Factory Connection in Paris - always talking about the deals and stuff.

So, I trusted her good review and decided to visit the store for the first time.

Its a fairly nice place, but I was browsing thru their American Eagle jeans and thought they smelled a bit funny (stinky), and when I got to the middle part of the rack - the jeans had crickets crawling all over them. Kind of icky…probably an isolated incident. I didn’t find anything there that suited our needs.

Still in the mood to complete the back to school clothes shopping, I went to Peebles after that and to my surprise, I found some really nice bargains similar to Marshalls and TJ Max -(had never been to Peebles until then).

Prices for camping at Blue Licks Park in Kentucky are broken down in three ranges by days of week like this. Monday thru Thursday or Friday and Saturday, or Special Event/ Holidays.

Primitive camping is available, that’s where you take your tent and live on the ground. There is a bath house on the premises, but no water or electricity outlets for tent camping convenience. Tent camping costs $12 mon-thurs, $14 weekends, or $16 special events per day.

Camper camping offers water and electricity hookups and that costs 22, 24, or 26 dollars per day, depending on what days of the week you camp- read above.

They have an adult size pool and at least one kiddie pool. Pool opens as they typically do across America - beginning on Memorial Day (end of May) and closing on Labor Day (first part of September).

Campgrounds are closed from the middle of November to the End of March, they do allow pets!

Yes, they do have a lodge in the area also, pricing for that will vary, but you can call them up for more info. No pets allowed in Lodge except for Service animals. I hope this post has helped you out with Blue Licks Kentucky Campgrounds.

The huddle house has perfectly baked potatoes as a side, and their service is really good. Good clean casual fast dining.

I haven’t patronized any of the fancier places other than Pericos, and I like them pretty good.

Used to enjoy Campbells until they quit serving adult beverages. I think they are closed now anyways.

I really would like to try one of the finer dining places in Paris Ky - I don’t know where to start. I like salad an potato and my dining partner will want a cold beverage - so ? There’s Clays Downtown, Magdalias, and a few others…

WTF is it with Idiots that get on the internet and chat? I see too many people spewing trashy remarks on open forums and they do it anonymously, not just so they can hide, but, obviously, they are afraid to show their ignorance and put their name behind it.

A boy goes to soccer practice and his mom sits in the car doing homework with her other kid for a couple of hours. Then practice is over and the boy doesn’t see him mom waiting and mom doesn’t see her son coming from any of the four fields of players. She waited and waited….. he never came out.

She called 911 and the search began in Lexington Kentucky for the seemingly lost or abducted eleven year old boy from Paris Kentucky.

After two hours of searching, thank heavens, the boy was spotted walking north, on his way home to Paris. It is about a twenty mile hike from where he was practicing soccer at Lexington Christian Academy.

You wouldn’t believe the insulting comments that were made on wkyt news site regarding the reporting of this missing boy to the the authorities. People are accusing this mom of over-reacting. It’s obvious they live in a sheltered fantasy world!

I’ve experienced the twinge and terror of a missing child and it aint no joke, folks!

I sort of made a big mistake last year, thank goodness it wasn’t at a huge cost!

Well, it’s finally here, we got our few inches of snow after the Canadian cold air collided with the Texas rain.

It blew it’s way in this morning and dumped the snow on us pretty quickly. There are only a few flakes left flying around in the air, but we are pretty much stranded in the snow for now.
